ems-charge EV charging product line

The 22 kW wallbox, built for daily charge

A wall-mounted AC EV charger rated 7.4 / 11 / 22 kW with a Type 2 or Type 1 connector. It charges at up to 32 A, lives in an IP65 + IK10 enclosure rated for −30°C to +55°C, and speaks OCPP 2.0.1 for load balancing, RFID and app control.

One enclosure, three power ratings.

The same 22 kW-rated enclosure is sold derated to 7.4 kW and 11 kW, so installers stock one unit and select the rating to match the home's supply — 16 A on single-phase 230 V or 32 A on three-phase 400 V.

  • 7.4 / 11 / 22 kW on 16 A or 32 A, single- or three-phase.
  • Type 2 or Type 1 connector on a 5 m or 7.5 m cable.
  • IP65 + IK10 enclosure for outdoor mounting and impact resistance.
  • −30°C to +55°C operating range, efficiency above 95%.

ems-charge AC wallbox installed on a garage wall beside a charging electric car
Engineering

Safe on every grid, quiet in every garage.

The wallbox is built around the details that decide whether a home install passes inspection and keeps working for years.

  • 6 mA DC leakage protection trips on residual DC current that a standard type-A RCD misses — required for safe Mode 3 charging.
  • Dynamic load balancing trims charge current when the home's other loads rise, keeping total draw under the breaker limit.
  • OCPP 2.0.1 exposes the unit to any operator platform for remote start, firmware OTA and per-session metering.
  • −30°C to +55°C operation with sealed IP65 electronics survives salt, rain and direct sun.

Build & Safety

Details you notice at install time.

The connector parks in a side holster so the plug never rests in dirt, and a slim LED strip reads status at a glance without a display to power.

  • Integrated cable holster keeps the Type 2 / Type 1 plug dry and off the ground between sessions.
  • LED status strip shows standby, charging and fault states in one glance.
  • IK10 impact rating stands up to garage bumps and parking-lot knocks without cracking the housing.
Applications

Home, condo or new build.

Single-family home

A 7.4 kW wallbox adds a full charge overnight on a 16 A circuit; 11 kW covers a 70 kWh battery in roughly 7 hours on three-phase.

Apartment & condo

Renters face charging access twice as often as owners. Load sharing plus OCPP per-unit billing splits one supply across dozens of bays.

New build & developers

Pre-wired conduits and a standard 22 kW-capable unit let developers spec one model for the whole site and activate power per plot later.

Certified

Approved before it leaves Shenzhen.

The wallbox meets ENERGY STAR standby limits — a base 4 W in no-vehicle mode plus defined allowances for Wi-Fi, cellular and RFID radios — and carries the marks each market demands.

FAQ

Wallbox, answered.

Match it to your supply. A 7.4 kW unit runs on 16 A single-phase 230 V; 11 kW and 22 kW need 32 A, with 22 kW on three-phase 400 V. The enclosure is identical across all three.
Yes. The IP65 enclosure seals against dust and water jets and the IK10 rating resists impact, with an operating range of −30°C to +55°C.
Dynamic load balancing throttles the charger when household load rises, so a 22 kW wallbox can live on a supply that cannot always deliver full current.
OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1 over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or optional 4G, so it registers with any compliant charging management platform for OTA, billing and remote start.
